Cash hero, tournament zero

Starting balance: $200
Current stars bank: $316
Profit: 58% ($116)
Sessions: 3
Average profit per session: $38.66

I decided to try a sit n go tournament on pokerstars last night, $15 PL Omaha Hi/Lo - Turbo. I'm not a turbo / speed sit n go fan, towards the end they become even more of a crapshoot than usual but last night I was short of time and hoped a quick cash would be enough for the evening.

Hand #1
I got Ah2h3h9d

There are 4 limpers before me (surprise, it's Omaha!) So I hoped to clear a few out by pot raising. 2 folded.

Flop:
7hJhKh (bingo!)

I check, one of the others bets the pot (BINGO!). I pause and call. 3rd guy folds.

Turn:
6c

Other guy is now all-in, no need to pause, I call straight away. At this stage I leave my chair to get a drink, sure he has a flush, Q high.

River: Th

Nightmare river! He has the straight flush! I returned to my chair to see myself out and had to check everything twice until it dawned on me.

I wouldn't say I tilted after this but probably saw 60% of flops with my cards in the subsequent cash game! I still got out ahead, in the cold light of day I'm amazed I did but the fact that I did hammered home how poor the players at 50c/$1 NLHE are. The session ended with a slight increase to the profits, I'm pleased to get over 50% after 3 sessions, this bodes well for future increases. Must avoid those damn sit n go's!!
